Top-Prize-Winning Lottery Ticket Worth Over $33K Sold At Hudson Valley 7-Eleven

In the midst of Election Day, one lucky visitor to a 7-Eleven in the Hudson Valley walked away with a lottery ticket worth tens of thousands of dollars.

The top-prize-winning Take 5 ticket was sold for the evening drawing on Tuesday, Nov. 5 at the 7-Eleven at 1320 Route 52 in the Putnam County town of Carmel, New York Lottery officials announced.

The ticket was worth $33,751,50, officials added. The winner's identity was not made public.

If you're looking to try your luck, Take 5 drawings are televised twice daily at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Prizes can be claimed up to one year after the date of the drawing.
